Moira Michelini was born in Terni - Italy. She began to study music in the "Conservatorio G.Briccialdi" of Terni, in Umbria, showing very soon remarkable musical gift and a special aptitude for the piano.
She achieved the diploma under the guide of Professor Fausto Mastroianni, graduating with full marks, lode and honourable remark.

She gave her first concert in the theatre "G.Verdi" in Terni in 1987. Since then, she has given many concerts as solo pianist and as part of chamber music's groups, both in Italy (Turin, Catania, Palermo, Rome, Florence, Siena, Salerno, Spoleto, Taranto) and abroad: Belgium, Austria, Portougal, Spain, Germany, Svitzerland, France, Argentina, Malaysia and Japan.

About her collaboration with orchestras we can remark: the National Simphony Orchestra of Malaysia, the State Orchestra of Rumenia with the piano concert in Fa of G.Gershwin, from this concert, she recorded a CD-Live, the Bonner Jugend Simphony Orchestra from Germany, the Simphony Orchestra Municipal of Buenos Aires, the Conservatory Orchestra of Liegi and the Simphony Orchestra of Murcia.

She has enriched her musical skills with Professor F.Mastroianni, Mrs Lya De Barberiis, O.Frugoni and A.Specchi in Florence; all artists of great statue who have always had great admiration for the young pianist. She achieved the diploma of post-graduate studies of piano in the Accademy "Opus Artis" of Professor Aquiles Delle Vigne in Bruxelles, and certificates of the Academy Mozarteum of Salzburg.

She as also partecipated in many piano-competitions, achieving different prize: 1° prize absolute in Villar Perosa (Turin), 1° prize "Città di Rimini", 1° prize in Camaiore (Florence), 3° prize "Competition Villa Rospigliosi" (Siena), 3° prize "Competition of Casamassima" (Bari), etc. In 1994 she took part in the international piano-competition "Città' di Oporto" Portugal, and in 1996 in the international competition "Maria Canals" of Barcelona- Spain.

Morever she has performed in many musical Festivals and in follows-up courses: playing in the Mozarteum of Salzburg in the prestigious Leopold Mozart's hall and in the splendid Wiener Sall.
She has also performed in the italian Channel R.A.I. for the International Festival of "Umbriafiction TV" and in the Saint Valentine's Festival in Terni, Festival of Mediterraneo of Cartagena (Spain), and Festival "Sant Pere de Rodes" of Girona (Spain), obtaining everywhere public and critics appreciation. She has recorded for R.A.I. TV.

In 1999 she recorded her first C.D. with music of Domenico Scarlatti and the Spanish Antonio Soler, exposed in the International Music Exibition of 2001 in Paris. She is Artistic Director of the Cultural Association "Araba Fenice" of Terni in Italy.
